Office TAAB was embarked on 9th of December, 2006 as an Association of Person to promote and help the Tax Advocate's fraternity to which it caters to and grown a long way since then. The association is now a highly active and has witness a huge spike in the number of its member strength which has almost reached one thousand now. The association arranges and conducts meetings, workshops, seminars and symposiums within and outside of West Bengal. The association is now more regular and active in publishing the bulletins of regula and active in publishing the bulletins to spread awareness about latest updates and happenings in the world of Tax Advocates. This clearly shows the involvement of the association for spreading its wings and awareness both in West Bengal and outside. TAAB has also collaborated with the directorate of CGST to organise many joint programmes at GST Bhawan. The association has been successful in raising a benevolent fund recently and we have received generous donations from many member of TAAB. This received great support from our Vice President Mr. Sajjan Tulsiyan, Mr. Subhash Agarwal and Mr. Sanjay Kuman during initial days. Recently, TAAB organised a seminar at the Biswa Bangla Covention Center on 7th September, 2019 which was one of the best seminars organised in the history of TAAB. It witnessed participation of 500 delegates and the association was privileged to have honourable Governor Shri Jagdeep Dhankar inaugurate and preside this seminar.

  • November 22nd, 2006 :First Meeting at 61a AJC Bose Road, Kolkata-700016 fixing next date on 9th December at Bar Council Bhawan –Agenda: Fomation Of Association. December 9th, 2006 :TAAB was formed at Bar Council Bhawan –Salt Lake. 1st Foundation Day : Founder President Sri Ashis Gupta And Founder General Secretary Sri Siddhartha Mukhopadhyay.
  • January, 2007 : Workshop at the Basement Library Of The Calcutta University Institue. February 10th, 2007 : Workshop and the second Executive Committee meeting at 'Dream Lodge', T.D. Banerjee Road, Krishnanagar, Nadia and Bulletin No 1 was published. April 7th, 2007 : Seminar at Bidhan Sishu Udyan. Tax Advocates' Association of Bengal is going to organise A whole day seminar on "Income Tax And Goods & Services Tax" on 16 th June, Sunday, 2024 at "Dhonodhanya Auditorium", Alipur, Kolkata.

Members from across the state participate with great enthusiasms in this seminar as an annual rituals. Inauguration programme wii be flagged on by Hon'ble Justice Indra Prasanna Mukherjee, Kolkata High Court. Commissioner, Sales Tax, Mr D P Karanam, Principal Commissioner, Central Tax, Mr. Manoj Kumar Kedia, will illuminate the occasion by their august presence. Different Law Colleges, viz, Haldia Law College, Kingston Law College, JIS Law College will extend their cooperation in holding this seminar gorgeously.

At Technical Session on Income Tax Adv S k Tulsiyan and Adv Paras Kochar will talk on Search & Survey with practical reference.

At second Technical Session on GST, Adv Sujit Ghosh from Supreme Court and CA Arun Agarwal will deliver on Input Tax covering Section 16(4) and Section 17(5) in details. A practical session on the procedure of reversal of ITC will be shown by Adv Arup Das Gupta.

All delegates and Dignitaries will be given an warmth hospitality with breakfast, Lunch, Hi Tea and a pack of memorable kit.
